                                  is an all-around drummer based in Los Angeles. Having studied classical percussion, jazz drumset, and a range of popular music styles, his versatility has made him a reliable asset to pop stars, musical pit orchestras, rock bands, jazz trios, and more. 

 

He attended USC’s Thornton School of Music where he studied with Peter Erskine and Ndugu Chancler as a Popular Music Major. While learning from these legendary drummers, James began teaching throughout the Los Angeles area, and is passionate about sharing his love of rhythms and music with students of all ages.

He is also experienced in the studio; in addition to his drumming credits, James produces, writes songs, and handles live playback for a variety of artists and clients.

Prinzi is a high-energy performer, as well as a team player off-stage; his professionalism and adaptability make him an in-demand drummer throughout Los Angeles.
